Dear September Mommas,

It was been such a joyful ride with you. It seems like only a few short weeks ago we were all posting pictures of our positive pregnancy tests, first ultrasounds, and small bumps - now we are in the thick of it. Belly so big it can hold up our plates of snacks, worries and anxieties so high they could single handedly spark a rocket ship straight to the moon. As I was going to bed tonight, I was seeing a lot of posts titled "Help!", "I'm afriad!", "Is this normal?!" as we are all navigating the ending weeks of our pregnancies - so I thought we could all use a little dose of encouragement to get us through.

September mommies that are now August mommies, this includes you all too, of course. Don't think I don't see you. Congratulations!

Just a reminder, that even as all of these changes continue to happen to our body... as we are sorting baby clothes, prepping breasts and bottles, preparing our nests, managing round ligament pain, pelvis pressure and counting kicks - YOU, WE, US... WE WERE CHOSEN FOR THIS. For this growth in our bodies, minds, families and hearts. God has handpicked YOU for this, for all of it. For the labor you will face or the daunting c-section that you try to ready yourself for. All of our delivery stories, babies and experiences will be completely different - but we are all in this together. He chose this time for us, although we may not find it ideal amongst the COVID-19 pandemic, but He chose us for a reason, even at this time. Have faith in your hospitals, doctors, midwives, doulas, partners - believe with ALL OF YOUR HEART that God has placed them along your journey to successfully assist you through this ending of this brand new beginning. First time, second time, third time, fourth or more, no two journeys are the same - He has carried us through so much already and He will never fail or falter. Go CONFIDENTLY into this, this new strand of motherhood. Know how deeply loved and cared for you are, by the One who created you but also by all of those beautiful people he has surrounded you by to support you through this - even including us! Congratulations Mommas, all of you. You are woman, let me hear you roar!! You got this, you were literally hand-picked, made and chosen for it. Your body is resilient and so is that baby! Let your radiance shine as you embrace the last few days, weeks, hours of this pregnancy and move into the next stages. Let's do this! Together! Faith over fear!
