Tubes tied after birth!questions ??

I want to tide my tubes after I give birth. They told me if it’s vaginal I can’t do it the same day. Does anyone know how soon I can get them done and how long does it take to recover???

I believe it’s around 2 or 3 months after. But honestly I wouldn’t do it! I had mine done and it screwed my body up so bad I never had bad periods until I had this done then they was awful pain every month and bleeding was awful also. I ended up after 3 years going back and having them untied then my periods went back to normal.
