Switching from formula to milk at 12 months ?

My sons 12 month doctor appt isn’t until 9/25 and he turns one on 9/7...anyone know the process from transitioning from formula to milk?

So I called my sons pediatrician office yesterday about it. I was just like hey what am I supposed to be doing!? They said AT ONE then he will have whole milk. You can transition formula/whole milk if u want or just start him on whole milk right away but she said for now make the bottles w colder water bc some babies have a hard time drinking warm formula to straight cold milk. Idk how much exactly but she said the amt will be cut in half or more of what he is doing now. I just called bc I thought he had to be off the bottle by 1 and I'm like whoa that's around the corner! She said start weaning from bottles at 1 is what they recommend as long as off bottles by 15 months

With my first, I replaced 2oz of formula with milk at a time. And added more every day or two so it gradually got colder and more milk. It only took about a week and was pretty easy. 
With this one, I have 1.5 containers of formula and will switch her to milk cold turkey when we’re out of formula. She started refusing bottles last week so she only drinks formula from a straw cup now.

I had my one year appt yesterday baby won’t be one year til 9/10 dr said to start introducing it now so by one he will be use to it .

We started to replace one bottle day each week from 11 months of formula to milk (she was already used to colder bottles wouldn’t take warm ones) and now she’s fully on cows milk and is just short of a year. We wanted to transitioning so by the time she’s 1 she was off it but she ended up taking the milk so well and not even wanting the formula anymore 🙈 Heath visitor said it’s perfectly as I was worried because she was off it before a year! But I think it’s been great doing it that way Cos she slowly got used to the cows milk and then wasn’t even interested in the formula!
