Can you mix frozen and fresh milk?

Hi mommas - is it okay to mix frozen breastmilk that’s been thawed in the fridge with freshly pumped/chilled breastmilk? Thanks!

Yes absolutely! The fresh milk just needs to be cooled down before you mix it together. Don’t freeze the dethawed milk again and use it within 24h. It’s best to dethaw in the fridge over night. You can warm up the milk in warm water but not in the microwave as it will lose its vitamins.
