Does this look too big for 13 weeks? I've gained 12 pounds. I've heard if you gain weight too fast and your stomach gets big right away that means the baby could have too much amniotic fluid. Am I over reacting? I was 208 before pregnancy so I could be just chubby to begin with right?

Don't freak yourself out. Everyone carries differently I started at 195 and I am 210 at 20 weeks. Just enjoy it. Also sometimes we as pregnant women get bloated as well...

You're all good. Try not to stress. Different people gain weight differently through pregnancy. A friend of mine gained quickly and she's super healthy.

You sure most of it isn't bloat? I eat a lot and then it just happens to be bloat after a few days of bathroom and from water etc

I had a bloat belly until about 20 weeks when I got my bump. Your doctor may not be happy with your weight gain of 12 lbs so early but I gained 10 lbs between conception and week 13 and have only gained 2 more pounds in the past 10 weeks. I have a placenta previa so I can't exercise but I'm being careful with food now. Some women gain faster in the beginning and then slow down in the second trimester. If I overeat the day before I wake up bloated even now to the point where it looks like I'm going to give birth tomorrow! Happy pregnancy!!

This is me at 11.5 weeks and I've definitely gained around ten pounds. I'm really hoping second trimester allows me to eat better because for the last 8 weeks I've only been able to eat carbs.
