What are y’all getting your baby for their birthday present?

We are getting my son a lovey that we will start introducing to him for naps/bedtime since he'll be 1. He loves the book Goodnight Moon so we are getting him the lovey of the main character. Only $20 and something I think he is going to love for a long time. 😊

The usual- some clothes, a couple books and a toy. I’m also writing her a letter about her first year to give to her when she’s older. Like about delivery and those first few weeks as a new mom and her milestones.

I’m making him a “my first year” scrap book, my mom made one of these with pictures and I still have it. 
I was also thinking about getting him climbing blocks or something that he can get his energy out with that will also teach him.

I’m going to write him a letter and leave meaningful things in it for him like a little postcard I got taped on my closet that he loves looking at and other little things that he could pass on to his own kids and will hopefully enjoy reading my letter once he gets older. I’ll do that every year. I’ll probably knit him something and make a cake. That’s all

Since my little girl likes babyfirst and color crew do we decided to get the talking color crew plushies both sets and I bought a toy box that transforms into a playmat.  Her brother got his early because she kept getting into his toys and he was getting frustrated with her...so he got his toy box early. 
If you are out shopping and see something and think that is cool, my baby might like that.  Get it and put it aside. 
She may not be old enough now but watch her progress she may be soon.  That way you can have something small every year.

We just got our daughter some clothes for her next size, a toy, and some books. Most of the clothes and books we even got at yard sales and consignment sales.
