Generic vs name brand
So, this past weekend my mom told me she would pick my birth control up for me at my local pharmacy back home. I usually take the name brand version of my birth control called Tri-Nessa. Well, she misplaced it, so yesterday I had to go to Walmart and get the generic brand of it called Tri-Sprintec because they didn't carry the name brand. I took 2 yesterday because I had missed one pill on Sunday because she lost it. My question is: Is the generic brand of birth control still as effective as the name brand version? I had to switch without consulting my doctor about it and I'm just worried that it isn't going to be as effective as what I have been taking.
