Period or breakthrough bleeding?

I had sex right before my last period was supposed to start and it was sooo much lighter than normal. Then I was supposed to start my next period again yesterday and it has been barely anything. It's just really light pink when I wipe sometimes. My period has never been this light before. Could I be pregnant?

Answer

If you think you could be pregnant,  take a test.  Our periods aren't fixed, sometimes they come earlier than we expected due to earlier ovulation, other times later due to later ovulation.
Sometimes they can be heavy, medium, light.....none of this always conclusively means pregnancy.
You could wait a couple of days and see how your period progresses, or take a test.
