Should we do a gender reveal?

We didnt do a gender reveal with our daughter because we were to impatient to know lol. I honestly still want to find out bc I'm dying to know but then again idk if it would be cool to do a gender reveal. What are you guys thoughts? Or maybe we know the gender & reveal it to our family? Lol

Personally, I think gender reveals are tacky. But that’s just my opinion.

We found out with our first and then had a gender reveal to tell family and friends. We did the same with our second but we didn’t have an actual party we revealed the gender with my daughter’s 1st birthday cake. I say find out before everyone and then do a reveal for everyone else.

We found out during ultrasound with our first. Our second we did a gender reveal and found out with our parents, siblings and the friends that wanted to come for cake. Personally I liked the experience of the reveal best. It was so much fun finding out all together and having it be such a exciting moment. Finding out during the ultrasound was so lame to me and I regretted finding out that way. We’re going team green this time!

If you want to do a gender reveal go for it, it is your baby your decision. A friend of mine just did hers via Facebook live due to covid. Her dh held the balloon for boy and she held the balloon for girl. They opened the envelope and her dh popped the balloon. It was also a good way for her to announce her pregnancy.
