So I had to have a d&c procedure last Friday (6 days ago) due to tissue being left behind after a miscarriage unfortunately. The miscarriage happened two and a half weeks back and it was only until last week it was found that I hadn’t passed everything. They said it wasn’t much tissue left and the procedure went fairly quick. And I felt I was healing nicely and didn’t have too many cramps and only bled for 3 days very lightly. Although the past couple of days I’ve felt extremely bloated, more bloated than I have ever felt but no real pain, just discomfort due to the bloating.. I called my doctor Monday asking about it and if I should be concerned and they just asked if I had any bowel movement and that may be the issue if I hadn’t since being on pain medication and I hadn’t so I took miralax which worked and so on, but even after that I still feel so bloated. I’m scheduled to go in tomorrow for a follow up just because I want to make sure everything is okay, but I guess I’m just curious if anyone else had something similar happen, or if I should be super worried? I’ve never felt so bloated although I have no signs of infection or severe pain or anything.. just really bloated and uncomfortable because of it. I also want to mention that my period is supposed to start tomorrow according to my usual cycle.. could it just be that my period is coming back that quick and that’s why I could be so bloated? Even though I just had the procedure approximately a week ago? I’m just so tired and worn out, and constantly worried that something isn’t going correctly or that it will affect my fertility. Any comforting words or advice or similar stories would help..
