Which is better? Natural Birth or Epidural?

Alright there is no such thing as better when it comes to birth. Natural birth is so different than having a epidural. I had an epidural and thank God for that. If you need something like that for the pain then go for it. However, healing is way faster without one. :)

I have a high tolerance for pain, but not when it comes to my cramps and definitely not with contractions, so I had an epidural as soon as I could. I bow down to the ladies that have had natural births because I couldn't do it. As for which is better; neither is better, they are each persons choice on what is best for them. What's "best" for me, may not be what's "best" for you.

I put epidural... because I know I'll be begging for one the minute I get in the hospital. this girl is a pain weenie.

With my last child I broke down and had an epidural.. The doctor failed to tell me that he was sticking the large needle in my spine and I flinched.. Worse annoying shocking pain I've ever had going up and down my left leg.. I couldn't walk correctly for almost a month.. And to this day every now and then my heel feels numb.. Will never have another epidural

I clicked epidural because with my son I went natural and it was bad. I don't remember any of it (maybe not a bad thing?) but I was so out of it for the next 3 days cuz I was so tired. I was also induced at 3pm on a Sunday and my son was born the next mornin at 11:19am. I'm trying to get pregnant now and I plan on asking for something called a walking epidural, or to have the epidural slowly wear off towards the end of delivery so I don't want any drugs out into me during say the last two pushes of the delivery so then I can feel my legs better and be up and about sooner.

I voted natural as my first birth was natural and I'm glad I did it that way.

I voted natural, bc it's still my goal. But labor stalled with my first and the epidural saved us hours of suffering. If the contractions hadn't been so hard on the baby, I probably would've stuck with natural, but every woman is different. Every baby is different. Every labor I different.
