When did you get your first OBGYN appt?

I've never been pregnant! Found out yesterday. My app says I'm 4 weeks, 3 days. My first appt is scheduled for sept 22. Feels like so long from now!!!

I had a confirmation appointment where I just peed in a cup and they said I was pregnant (which I already knew from the many tests I took before then). Then I had my first ultrasound and prenatal visit closer to 8 weeks.

It’s normally between 8-12 weeks. My first was 11 weeks and this one I’ll be almost 9 weeks.

This is an IVF baby so I’ll have my first scan next week at 5w4d, then I’ll have another one between 7-8 weeks, but my first official appointment with my OB will be when I’m 9w3d.

It is quite normal practice to have one between 8-12 weeks. If there are no known health problems, there is absolutely nothing they are able do befor anyway.

With our first son, they only had us come in at 6 weeks to get started on paperwork but normally it's 8-12 weeks. With this son, we saw our doctor for our first appointment in week 13.

In ireland here , it’s generally around the 12 weeks mark if no complications 👍🏻👍🏻 we’ve paid for early scans for all pregnancies for peace of mind though. 👍🏻👍🏻

Because of COVID my first OB appointment is next week (15 weeks). I’ve been to 3 ultrasounds and for bloodwork twice already though through my family dr.
