First rude comment?!

Today someone I work with asked me when I’m due and I said I was 33 weeks so I have a bit still and she said “oh it doesn’t look like it” lol WHAT??!!! 
It’s so different because my first pregnancy people always commented on how small I was, and this time I’m getting comments on how big I am?!! 
I will never understand why people always feel the need to comment on pregnant women’s bellies!

My neighbor asked when I’m due and I told her October 15th and she replied “WOW You’re going to have a HUGE baby” 
I was like wait what... We’ve both been measuring perfectly the entire pregnancy and I definitely feel like I look on track for where I am 🤣
Why do people make comments like that, it’s so annoying 😩🤣

I walked into Costco the other day and the woman working at the front checking cards said “big pregnant belly!” It doesn’t bother me really but damn, keep your mouth shut cause some women are very insecure about it. I’m having twins so yes my belly is huge at 31 weeks. I was tiny still at 31 weeks with my daughter. People always told me how small I was.

I have had some complications this pregnancy (#3) and my mother, yes my mother, asks is it possibly because of how much weight you've gained... First off, I'm already self conscious about how I'm carrying this time and second I have only gained 5 pounds because I lost 10 first so 15 total but 5 more than pre-pregnancy weight. 
I couldn't believe my own mother was so... Dumb!

I’ve found not matter what your always gonna be too small or too big to everyone else. No one just says “oh your belly looks perfect” 🤷🏼‍♀️

I feel like you look really good and your bump looks right on for this stage of pregnancy! I feel big! Sometimes my belly looks really big to me and other times not bad. But my first baby I had my shower at 33 weeks and all I heard from people was how big I was and I felt like my bump was perfect size! 😐 I get it, we are almost done and then hopefully no one will be worried about our bellies anymore

My coworker told me recently she “really noticed my face was looking pregnant” 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️
Good thing I was wearing my mask so she couldn’t see me clenching my jaw underneath! 😂😂

Sometimes people “comment” merely as a way of making conversation or banter, rather than with any bad intent. To avoid giving yourself stress, try to assume people have positive intent. At the end of the day, I’m sure being too big or too small doesn’t really matter much to others. Enjoy the rest of your pregnancy!

I got asked if my midwife waa measuring my bump. Followed by "i was your size at 3 months". Im 32 weeks.....this came from someone who has 2 children. So would think they know about the nervousness of being a ftm. Basically felt like they were telling me something was seriously wrong with my baby. Im still fuming

Eugh some people are so insensitive 🙈 if it makes you feel better I was told yesterday that “You’re carrying all over this time rather than the neat bump last time” 😩 thanks for that haha! I’m pretty sure it’s more to do with Covid and eating more but I didn’t want to explain myself x

I'm 33 weeks right now and a guy who works in my office walked over to my door and said, "oh yeah. I can tell your face is getting swollen from your pregnancy" 😒  He's now dead to me.
