Baby shower

So has anybody discussed their baby shower with Covid and all? I’m due with my first baby February 8th and my mom has thrown out the idea of a virtual baby shower which I hate bc why would a bunch of people have a zoom meeting just to watch me open presents? And then she wants to host it in the fall instead of December when it would traditionally be I guess bc if it’s warm enough she can hold it outside. My best friend just informed me she won’t be going to any party of any kind inside or out. I feel like there’s no point in even having one right now.
