I just wanted to remind everyone to be respectful of the decisions of those mamas that are throwing a little (or big) birthday party for their little one’s first birthdays, or are purchasing a big gift and are making a big deal of it. I’ve seen a few comments here, Facebook and elsewhere about how the babes won’t remember it, why spend so much money, etc. It is a big deal to make it to one, the first year is tough! Especially for those first time moms too. If you are keeping it low key and just celebrating with your spouse, that’s the perfect intimate celebration! If you’re having your family over that’s the perfect celebration for you too! Congratulations to all the mamas on making it through the first year! You’re doing great! Can’t wait to see pictures of all our one year olds 😭
