When should I take leave?

I can’t decide when to plan to take leave... I work part time in retail so I don’t have leave benefits besides unpaid. I also want to self quarantine for a bit before my due date. 
I’m due January 10th and my first pregnancy I went into labor at 38w2d. 
What date should I begin?

Just remember if you file for fmla which is everyone’s right to file for in the US, you can get partially paid by also filing for unemployment.

36 weeks if you’re wanting a 14 day quarantine, but 35 weeks if you want to play it super safe. I am taking off 4 weeks before my due date, but if I’m able to work from home I will push it to 2 weeks before.
