Well. A hairbrush isn't meant to be inserted into the vagina...it's extremely hard plastic. A penis isn't plastic so in no way would it feel similar at all. 
Look into buying something that is meant to go into a vagina that is softer. Hairbrushes also harbor an insane amount of bacteria, using one isn't safe at all.
