Ovulation but no pregnancy...any tips?

Question

I ovulated on 7.5 of Letrozole on CD19, but today at 12 dpo AF started. 
We baby danced on all the right days. In my previous pregnancies, I never ovulated and when I finally did, I’d get pregnant. I’m frustrated that I actually did ovulate this time, but no pregnancy. 
Should I switch back to Clomid, or should I give letrozole another chance? 
I guess it helped me ovulate, so maybe the letrozole was not the issue. 
Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Even when everything is done PERFECTLY there’s usually only a 25% of pregnancy, depending on other factors. It’s what makes TTC so maddening! Keep doing what you’re doing 🙂

It takes sometime to get pregnant I would say stick with the meds for a few months before switching, I'm on my 7th cycle and I've ovulated every single month but no pregnancy :( and I've done half clomid and half Letrozole!! you just have to keep playing with it & hopefully we get lucky soon

Femara is not the issue, Clomid and Femara are only for ovulation. You successfully ovulation on the medication so it worked. Getting pregnant is another story. Ive done 13 medicated cycles, no pregnancy. About to do 14th

As others have said, ovulating is less than half the overall picture. There's only about a 25 percent chance of conception when you have unprotected sex during your fertile window. A lot still has to happen after ovulation in order for a pregnancy to be established. You got "lucky" conceiving the first time you ovulated before; that is far from the statistical majority. 
There's no reason you can't continue with Letrozole if your doctor approves it.
