She slaps my face, scratches or pinches my legs, and throws toys me at me. I tell her no very sternly, say that hurts mommy, and redirect her. She either laughs or whines then continues to try to hit me or grabs something else to throw at me. I have no clue where she learned this behavior. We don’t hit her and she doesn’t go to daycare. She’s not hitting me all day long, but it’s gotten worse over time and she’s now trying to hit me multiple times every day. She does listen to me for most other things and does occasionally try to hit my husband but it’s mostly me. I have no clue what to do, I can’t imagine time out will work but redirecting isn’t helping. Is this normal?
