did anyone’s family have any wives tales that they believed in order to guess the gender of your baby? if so, what were they? were they right? 🧐 mines were: craving lots of sour and salty foods as well as no morning sickness so i was having a boy which was WRONG lol

Chinese calendar and all of the old wives tales were wrong with my first saying imma have a boy ended up with a girl. This time round the wives tales were correct and the Chinese calendar was wrong and I'm having a girl.

Chinese gender calendar was right for me, but everything else was wrong lol I fit perfectly into the “girl” section of all the old wives tales.... he’s definitely a boy lol

My mom likes to guess based off how I carry and my weight gain. For example with my son I was gaining really fast and carried all out front. She guessed boy because that’s how she was with my brother. She was correct! With my daughter I had a very slow weight gain and it mostly went to my hips and face. She guessed girl because that’s how she was with my sister and I. Again was correct. This time around she’s guessing girl but just for fun since I’m both gaining fast and it’s in the hips 😂

We did a whole list of them (10) and all but 2 said girl. We’re having a boy. However my friend did pretty much all the same ones if not more and most of hers said boy and she is having a boy. So it’s hit or miss. Her ring test was right mine was wrong which is one that soooo many people swear by lol.

The cravings was wrong for me also, I wanted tuna constantly and had a girl!
The bump sitting high for girl was correct for me also.
