Why FMU?

Why is the first morning urine the best for taking a pregnancy test? And what is FMU defined as? After an 8 hour sleep cycle? Right at 12 am since it's technically a new day? Please explain.

It's the best because normally you've held it for about 8 hours so it's more concentrated. It has nothing to do with the actual time

It's supposed to be more concentrated so more likely to pick up on hcg and show positive, but for me I find afternoons are best. I'm just weird lol! Last time I got pregnant I tested the day after af was due with fmu and got a negative, but I was adamant that I was pregnant, I just knew. So I waited until after lunch (about 3 hours) then tested again and it came back positive.
