Might have pcos need advice

I know a few or maybe a lot of you guys have this on here. I'm 19 and I got my referral to see an ob/gyn and I go on Jan 6. But in the mean time I want to know what I can do to help myself if this is what I have and why I can't lose weight and my periods go from 26 days to 80 day cycles any advice that can be given would be amazing on this because the doctor I saw who gave me the referral is pretty sure I have pcos
