Dark Brown Discharge on Pill

I’m due for my period in two days (placebo week) but I’ve been experiencing this for the past two days. Is it normal for a period to come a little early? I’m on month four of this birth control and never miss pills. I accidentally took one two hours late the other day but I don’t think that’s the reason for this. Could it be implantation bleeding?
