Am I wrong?

Okay so my bf and I have been together for over a hear and westarted  college in august as a long distance relationship. Everything is great we saw each other for a week in october and we will see each other saturday.

He works at his parents restaurant on the weekends but is taking off early to take me out to dinner.

My family is going to mass saturday night and i invited him to come with us. (He is catholic also so thats not the issue)

He told me that he will tell me on saturday if he can or not.

Im just annoyed because he finishes work 30 minutes before church starts and live 10 minutes from me. wI feel like he is making work more of a priority then being with me and spending time with my family.

I have always been close with my family and so is he so I dont get why he would do that.

IF THIS BEHAVIOR CONTINUES.. THIS MAY JUST BE WHO HE IS. DON'T WANT YOU TO LOOK UP 5 YEARS FROM NOW UPSET THAT HE'S DOING THE VERY THING HE'S ALWAYS DONE. COMMUNICATE. ASK HIM ABOUT THIS AND LET HIM KNOW HOW YOU FEEL.

It's only one time that he doesn't go. Nobodies wrong in the situation. Who wants to work all day and getting off smelling like food and having no time for a shower. I can kinda see wanting to take a shower and being ready for church. Try going on Sunday together instead of Saturday. It's not a big deal to overreact over something little.

while you two are still dating, work and everything still does come first. once you are married then the priority switches

I say you should give him a break. He seems like a responsible adult and wants to work, and that's hard to come by sometimes! It stinks he may not be able to make it, but he did tell you he would let you know. Maybe he is not able to leave work until his table leaves, and doesn't want to tell you yes and then call you last minute to cancel. There will be plenty of other masses he can attend, and maybe invite him to dinner with your family when he has a day off.
