Bee sting help!

My husband got stung by a bee on his hand while doing yard work yesterday (we aren’t sure what kind of bee). He went to bed last night feeling fine, kinda uncomfortable but no swelling or redness

He wakes up this morning and his hand is double in size! He could barely move his wrist. It’s really swollen and red all around the stung area (there’s no stinger in his hand).

He took a Claritin this morning and just took a Benadryl. He’s been icing it and rubbing anti-itch/pain cream on it on and off all day.. Does anyone recommend what I can do to help the swelling and pain go down?
