Post laparoscopy - period pain

I had my laparoscopy back in July. I had a lighter period a week later and today I started my period (so technically my 2nd since surgery) but the pain today has been unbelievable. Ibuprofen, my heating pad and even Norco haven't worked.

During my surgery I was diagnosed with endometriosis but my doctor said he removed what he could find. I've done some research on endometriosis and read that I could still have symptoms even after surgery. I definitely still have pain throughout my cycle like I always have (mild to severe cramping, sharp shooting pains, bloating, all the fun stuff)

Has anyone who had a laparoscopy for removing endometriosis tissue had more painful periods after? Or were they about the same?

Any tips for managing the painful cramping?

I just assumed my pain would be a bit more tolerable but I was wrong. Not sure if its normal.
