IUI got delayed

I was excited to start IUI this month and do my HSG test. I called the clinic on my first day of AF and asked to come down to collect letrozole and the IUI injection. Sadly they told me that I cant do HSG and IUI in the same cycle. They didn't explain this to me previously and I assumed it'd be done in same cycle.

I started to tear and think that I got to wait for one more cycle to do IUI. I got to wait for another 30 more days. I emailed my doctor and he said I can do both in one month but the risk is mine to take as the HSG result will take one week to get back and if the tube is blocked then it'll render the IUI useless. Haiz I got to wait another month to do IUI and 1wk for my HSG test.

Anyone else did the IUI and HSG test in consecutive months and got pregnant ?
