Rh negative blood type

This is my first pregnancy I'm 22 weeks and everything is going good so far but today I was told that at 28 weeks I will have to get a shot because my blood type is Rh Negative 😯 of course I immediately got scared and started searching the internet but that just made me worry even more. I was hoping is there any moms that experienced this and how did everything turn out ?
