I want a baby but I’m still not financially ready

But I’m already 34 so I really don’t want to keep waiting. It’s been a hard few years and we have been putting off TTC until we have a stable savings and a home to live in but it just hasn’t happened yet. We are still renting and have debt to pay off. Not paycheck to paycheck but, saving only a little. I don’t know to keep waiting for this, maybe another 3-5 years? Or start trying now and go with the flow. I just don’t want to struggle...
