Starting meds tonight for IVF!! 3 day transfer or 5 day transfer? And why?

Please share your experience or what your doctor office recommends. My doctor does a 3 day transfer. I have read a lot of debate on this and I'm just trying to find our what the glow community is doing.

I think it depends on your dr/clinic. I think it also depends on quality of the eggs collected.

I'm not sure why I'm not getting any responses on this question?  This is the second time I have asked this and I didn't get any responses the first time.

I always to to answer as many questions and be supportive for fellow women struggling to have our dreams.

My doctor usually does a day 5 transfer as standard IF you have more than 3 good embryos. I had 1 good embryo and 1 meh embryo, so they did a day 3 transfer for me since the uterus is in theory a better place for an embryo to survive than a Petri dish (doc's reasoning). Good luck!

We did a successful 5 day transfer. My RE only does 3 day if the embryos aren't good quality.
