Toddler entertainment for car journeys⁉️

Anyone have any good suggestions for toddlers who get very bored and grizzly in cars (I say 'grizzly', sometimes he outright just SCREAMS).

I would rather not go down the iPad/tablet route right now if we can help it.

My son (15mo) gets so bored so quickly, even if someone is sat in the back with him, which I can't do on weekdays as it's just me with him.

We've tried different toys but are limited in what we can attach to the headrest/straps to stop him throwing/losing it. We've tried a nursery rhymes CD which had helped a little but not always and not for very long!

Any suggestions would be very welcome. Thank you! 😊
