Weight Loss on Birth Control?

Question

Has anyone lost weight while being on birth control? 
I know it’s silly but I’m thinking of finally getting on the pill and I’m afraid I’ll gain weight and not be able to lose it. I’ve struggled with weight my whole life and I’ve heard some women eat clean and workout and still are not able to lose weight on the pill
