Anyone ditched bottles yet?

I'm soo nervous to ditch bottles! My guy turns 1 on the 13th and his appt is the 15th. I'm going to ask them for advice then. But he is def attached. This weekend I did mix some whole milk w his formula but he has still refused a sippy (i have tried 7 different kinds) just wondering if anyone ditched bottles yet and how it is going!

Not sure why you would be ditching bottles so early. From what I’ve been told they can have bottles up until 2 if they want them. Depending on how they take to sippy cups etc. the important thing is keeping them fed and watered (milked) lol Don’t stress about it and don’t worry about the timeline.

My son is 13 months (one year adjusted age on the 10th) and I've decided I'm just not concerned. We'll wean as it feels right. He takes plenty of sippy cups with water and cow's milk, he eats plenty of food, and he goes to sleep "drowsy but awake" without a bottle, and sleeps through, so I'm just fine with where we're at. I was nervous too mama, but I decided it's not a big deal.

I use bottles for milk and he drinks water and other drinks in a cup with a straw because he hasn’t quite learned how tip back a silly cup. Lol
He’ll be a year on the 25th but I’m not worried about breaking the bottle habit as he does fine with anything with a straw.

Took away bottles on his birthday and that day he figured out how to use straw sippy cups. It was like an adapt or die situation or something lmao. We have been practicing for about two months prior but I wanted him off bottles because he has pretty much all of his teeth

I did these cups with my daughter and I’m now using them with my son. We ditched all his bottles the other day. He doesn’t sleep with a bottle or cup. He gets these or the miracle 360 cups, but he’s having a hard time with those. So did my daughter. We’ll see if these work for him too.

We’ve been off bottles for a month now. He still prefer the soft nipple sippy cups but he will take a plastic sippy cup as long as he’s not sleepy.

Started ditching bottles at 6 months. We do sippy cups. We haven't had a real bottle in a month. He LOVES his cups. We started switching to real milk also so he loves them even more. It became a fight to get Formula in him.

My first had the bottle till a year a few months. My September babe stopped using his baby bottle around 10 months. He likes his straw cup or nuk sippy

I was worried also!! My baby had me holding her bottle. She knew how to hold her own sippy cup because she drinks water all the time so I knew she was attached 
 She is now drinking whole milk in her own sippy cup and holding it by herself in the high chair! 
What I did was offer her formula in the sippy cup then after she refused I would give in. I did this for 3 days 
Then I offered her whole milk in the bottle for 2 days and she refused also and gave in 
I then offered her whole milk in the sippy cup for 2 days but I was still holding it for her. She drank a few oz 
Then the next night she held her own sippy cup and drank the full 8oz of whole milk in the high chair reclined back and is now taking 3 bottles with no problem

I started offering milk (formula) in a straw cup at meal times and then she started refusing bottles on her own so I got rid of them. She’s been drinking it out of cups only for a couple weeks now.
