Haaka?

Veteran moms, did you bring your Haaka to the hospital? I breastfed my two previous babies but never had the Haaka so am unsure when to start using it.

I did not bring it the first time and wish I had. We ended up having to stay 5 days and I had to pump every 2 hours to get my milk to come in (per my OB) because she had low sugar and we needed to get my milk in fast. The Hawks would have been helpful! I say bring it, it’s small and doesn’t take up much room! You probably won’t need it, but just in case:)

I haven’t bought a pump at all - I haven’t been leaking and so I’m not sure I’ll be able to breastfeed at all yet. I figured I’d buy the supplies once I know what I’m doing.
I figure the hospital would help with lactation initially.

I didn't bring any pump to the hospital. I wasn't there long. Maybe some mamas/countries have longer stays and require more stuff!

I loved mine last time around but didn’t bring mine to hospital. Most likely your milk won’t come in until you’re home anyways. If baby won’t latch, the hospital should provide u with anything u need to pump. If baby is latching and nursing there’s no need to pump until your supply is regulated￼.
