My babes first birthday is coming up and I can’t stand my MIL. She makes me cringe, anxiety go through the roof, and I hate to be around her. The feeling is mutual to be honest. How horrible is it to do something small and separate with her on the side instead of her coming to a main thing? I feel like it’s a special day for me and my husband celebrating our daughter when she joined our family and feel I shouldn’t have to be uncomfortable because she is there.
