Lice help with toddler

My 2 year old has lice and we are finding it very difficult to get rid of them! This is our 3rd time seeing them on her head now. We found 4 or 5 adults today and millions upon millions of nits. We've tried rid max and nix. The comb they come with just gets lice and not the nits. I have to get all the nits out by hand, and she FIGHTS when I try- making it so hard to make sure I got them all. She bucks and screams and it's just awful. We always clean all bedding and toys every time we discover them. We're at a loss of what to do! What worked for you guys? Especially with the nits since those are our biggest issue.
