When do most doctors let labor go instead of trying to stop it?

My midwife told me at my 34 week visit that at this point they won't do much to stop labor if it were to happen, just depends I guess

The babe is usually done developing at 36 weeks, but isn't considered full term until 37 weeks. I think most docs won't stop it after 37 weeks, but I know there are special cases where a doctor wouldn't stop labor, or would even induce if it was a little earlier than that, usually because of a medical condition.

It really depends. With my last 3 pregnancies I went into labor at 33 weeks and they tried all their tricks and then at some point they eventually told me well we can't stop it but we won't help it progress if we can. I ended up making it to 36 weeks with them and with this one they won't even try to stop it once I hit 35 weeks. For our hospital it is an insurance and safely issue (we don't have a nicu) if I go in at 34 and 6 days and am progressing but not super fast I have to be life flighted 2 hrs away to a hospital that can deliver that early of a baby. So it would probably be different for each Dr's office

At my 35 week appointment my midwife said that if I were to go into labour at this point she wouldn't stop it.
