If you don't use a dishwasher how do you clean your dishes?

I'm confused as to why this is a question and the options given. Why is a scrubber listed in each option? What is a scrubber? Isn't a scrubber a sponge or a cloth? I'm confused.

I use my bare hands and a sponge with a scrubber on it. I had a crochet scrubber but it finally was beyond use after so much use/sanitizing... I have forgotten how to crochet it's been so long lol.

It would be nice if the dishwasher worked, but it died like 5 years ago and honestly I don't care. I do a sink load every night and it only takes a few minutes. No big deal.
