39 week cervix check???

Question

Brown blood after cervix check 39 weeks. He had to go really far in only 1 cm . Is this bleeding normal? I’m nervous and really crampy now.

Totally normal! Can also start labor!

Got checked yesterday and have bled brown since then. Was having bad cramps and contractions all day yesterday but so far today just some Braxton Hicks an minimal cramping. I was so hoping the check had triggered labor. I was dilated to about a 3 he said. I’m still spotting but yesterday it was pretty heavy but nothing red at all. Thinking he accidentally stripped my membranes but not sure 🤷🏼‍♀️

Happens to me every time. I bleed red for a couple hours then it turns dark and I bleed for a few days.
