Anyone announced publicly yet?

Question

We’re thinking of announcing next week after my ultrasound at 9 weeks. I know it’s early, but we’ve done the grieving of having a miscarriage alone so this time we’d like the support of our loved ones in case it ends that way. Just curious if anyone has announced yet. Would love to see your pics :)

We announced at 5 weeks! I went through a miscarriage in March all alone and it was terrible. I’d rather announce early and if anything happens I will have support and people to talk to. You announce when you’re ready! I’ve always announced early so this was nothing new for me.

We told our immediate families as soon as we found out but for social media we’re waiting until 12 weeks for 2 reasons. 1 risk of miscarriage is lower 2 I had a super cute sign made that I want to use for the announcement on the first day of fall!

With my first we told family right away we did ivf both times. We announced on social media at 10 weeks. With my current pregnancy we just told family im currently 7w5d and we will announce on social media again at 10 weeks.

We announced at 7 weeks for the same reason. I told my job first because my pregnancies are so high risk I wanted them to be able to preferred for me leaving very early in the pregnancy be she’s that’s what usually happens.

We told our parents the day we found out. Planning to tell siblings if our first appointment shows it’s going well — will be 9 weeks by then. My brother and his wife has kids & have been really eager for us to have kids too; my husband’s sister recently got engaged. So we wanted to bring them all in once it was farther along.

If you really wanted to tell people tell the ones closest to you. It's a great joy to share. I did. I also am miscarrying at the moment and I send a message to those who knew and they have been really kind and caring. I don't regret telling them, I am only upset about the loss. That being said, I would not post it on social media yet. I think at 9 weeks that to bold of a move and of something happens you having to announce to the whole world can add a lot of stress to an already bad situation.
