I know the middle is the safest, but my car doesn’t have the anchor points in the middle, so we put it behind the passenger because I have shorter legs that my husband (I’m 5ft 1in on a good day 🤣)

2yr old is behind the driver in my car and baby is behind passenger. Flipped in my husbands car. When it was just my daughter we had her in the middle until I couldn’t lift her that far into the car. We moved her to behind the driver (where she still is) because i figured if I make a split second decision my mind will think to turn away from an accident/oncoming car. So if she was behind the passenger seat then the oncoming car would directly hit her. That was my thinking!

Kind of a side note to this topic. But what do you guys have for cars? I have a Kia Sorento but having the rear facing car seat behind my passenger seat creates very little leg room for the front passenger 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ it’s so irritating. Especially since I bought this car knowing we were going to have a baby
