How many diapers do I need?

Do I need to get size 0? Or just size 1? How many should I get to start for when baby is a newborn?

Hold off on buying in bulk as sometimes you find the brand you buy doesn’t work out for your baby. Start off with the smaller packs until you know which kind you like

I would suggest buying one package of both to start. Its hard to say because until baby is born you wont know official weight but also what brand of diapers work well for you and baby. You don’t wanna end up with a bunch of diapers you cant use🙃

This was one of my biggest mistakes with my first, was not buying enough newborn diapers. Size 1 diapers is 10 lbs and up, so if you expect to have a ten lbs baby then sure, only get size 1. But most babies are smaller and it takes months for them to be able to put on a few lbs.
I only bought a few packs of newborn diapers for my 8 lbs baby and I had to run out the first week after she was born to buy more. And that was the LAST thing I wanted to be doing the first week my baby was home. We went through about 8 diapers a day so this time I’m planning for enough newborn diapers for the first month, so at least 240 diapers. I do recommend getting different brands though so you know what ones you like.

Ive learned newborn sizes dont last long. We bought 2 packs in different brands (my kids tend to be sensitive) and then we have 2 packs of size 1.
