I am still breastfeeding my 2.5 year old at nights and still loving it. The problem is I have had 2 miscarriages in the last 3 months. The only difference between the first pregnancy and the two miscarriages is the fact that I am breastfeeding. Everything that I have found says that breastfeeding typically doesn’t cause issues with carrying a pregnancy. We have already gotten the go ahead to start trying again, but if breastfeeding might be the issue then I want to start weaning even though neither one of us is ready to wean. Has anyone else been in this type of situation that could give me some ideas of what to do? Could this just be coincidence, or could breastfeeding be causing the issues?
