Do overnight diapers really help keep baby dry?

So my daughter is 5 months old and sleeps a good 10-12 hours most nights. She's been getting a rash quite often since she started sleeping longer. I change her right before bed and first thing in the morning. A friend suggested overnight diapers because they keep baby dry. Just wondering if they are worth the money or just a ploy to get more money out of people.

Honestly when my daughter was born i was using pampers swaddlers till she was in a size 2 diaper. Once she got to a size 2 she started leaking all the time no matter how often i changed her. I started buying her huggies overnight diapers and i swear by them!! I love them. I dont just use them overnight i use them during the day as well and change her just as often. She doesn't get rashes either. She is 19 months old. And i am 22 weeks pregnant and will be doing the same when hes born. Cause huggies overnights dont go in a smaller size than a 2:)
