Anyone still using baby monitors?

We’ve stopped using ours as she sleeps through most nights. She woke up last night though (teething) and I didn’t hear her straight away so I was just curious if anyone else was still using theirs?

We haven’t needed to tend to her in the middle of the night since like..... January. Haha. But we still use it just in case. Because one night the monitor died because we forgot to plug it in and I happened to wake up hearing her screaming bloody murder in her room. I have no idea how long she was crying for before I woke up. And I hated that!! I felt terrible. So I never want her to be crying like that and me not there to help her so we use the monitor still.

I still used one in islas room until aria went into her own room so she had just turned 4 😂 purely because it was plugged in...we never needed it through the night but it was handy for at the start of the night when she was getting out of bed a million times 🙃

Ours is on our main floor for nap time. We haven’t used ours at night since he was a few months old because I sleep so terrible with the monitor on. We share a bedroom wall with him so we can hear if he’s awake or not.

I still use one for my 3.5 yr old! Shes way down the hall and doesnt get out of bed when she wakes up, just yells. I also still use it for a lot of paranoid reasons lol

We still use ours and she in the next room. I just feel more comfortable being able to see her because she doesn’t cry when she wakes up so would no if she awake or sleeping I feel like I will use the Monitor for a while. ￼

I don’t think I would ever stop until my child can leave her own bedroom to come get me. I’m super paranoid about it for some reason!

I went with never had one, I do have one but baby naps while being held still and sleeps next to me still. If you do have one I’d keep it around because when they get those toddler beds and can get themselves in and out they will be needed.

Yep I use it for nap time & at night. He sleeps through the night, but I still like to check on him on the monitor. Plus he usually doesn’t cry when he wakes up in the morning, just sits up in his crib and starts talking lol
