How much olive oil should I take to induce?

HELP PLEASE LOL. I am 40+5 weeks and everything I try doesn't work. I don't want to go thru inducement because it was terrible my first time. So I wanna try olive oil. But how much do I take at one time? It says 1 tsp 3 times a day but I don't wanna do it that many times. So should I just take 2 tbsp?

I've never heard of olive oil inducing labor but now I know it's an extra possibility :) also I'm sorry that all these other women are being kinda rude and poking fun at you and calling you names. Not nice in my opinion. You'll have to let us know if you try it and it works. Good luck!

Yesterday my OB told me to stay away from papayas and mangos (especially if not fully ripe) because they can start contractions - according to Native American teachings or something like that. She also had a patient that went into labor at 35wks although she had no medical reasons to and she was drinking mango and papaya smoothies daily to help her constipation. Maybe try that and good luck!
