Normal frenectomy day after?

My 2 year old daughter had a frenectomy yesterday and while I did anticipate some pain for a bit, I'm concerned about a hard, white, almost perfect half circle on the tip of her tongue possibly from the clamp. Pretty much all of the dentists near me are closed for the weekend so I can't have her seen (though according to my husband, she's probably a bit traumatized since he said they strapped her down and he heard her very upset from the other room). Can any dentists on here confirm if this is normal and how long it should last? She's also slurring or lisping a lot trying not to move her tongue I think.
