Switching from clomid to letrozole??

We are starting cycle number 4 with IUI. For the last three cycles, we have done clomid, trigger, and IUI. We are switching to 10 mg of letrozole this month. Spotting started tonight to tomorrow is cycle day 1. Has anyone switched from clomid to letrozole and had a successful IUI after switching? Please wish us luck as this will be our last cycle before we take a break until December.

I didn’t do clomid with IUI. I did it with timed intercourse through my OB . I did get pregnant on it but ended in a blighted ovum and then a chemical after. I did letrozole with gonal f and trigger plus IUI and had success on my second round. The clomid thins a lot of women’s lining and makes it impossible for anything to implant. The letrozol works so much better! Good luck!

I haven’t gotten pregnant yet & not doing IUI, but switching from clomid to letrozole is what helped me even ovulate! No luck ovulating with clomid & had to take provera to start cycles but letrozole has made me regular. Good luck!
