I'm Just A But Curious . My doctor put me on the birth control pill . She said it was to "regulate" my period , but I told her multiple times my period IS REGULAR . 5-7 days , every month , always on time , and sometimes heavy , but my mom and her mom and my dads mom also had/have heavier periods so , that's nothing. Well , I took the birth control (2 different kind , months apart) and both would have me on my period for 10-14 days and sometime more than once a month. I hated it ! I know it's messes with your hormones but it doesn't take 8 months to do so ... So I stopped taking them . I was never the girl to have a lot of sex anyways so I had nothing to worry about .
