This probably sounds silly. I know that having diarrhea AFTER taking birth control, if it’s within 2 hours afterward it probably didn’t absorb.

Well my stomach has been upset all day, I’ve had diarrhea twice, once at around 2pm and once just now at 4:30pm. I take my pill at 5pm and feeling better now, but as long as I don’t have diarrhea immediately after taking my pill should it still be effective? Or is my stomach too messed up for it to absorb? Like if I take it at 5 but don’t have diarrhea but still have a stomachache, can i expect the pill to still absorb if I don’t physically go to the bathroom?

Idk if this makes sense lol. I am not sexually active but I missed a pill a few days ago and I’ve been going through some really inconvenient bleeding and cramping since i had to double up the next day and I’m worried about having more issues with this pill since my body already feels messed up lol.
